I think D is not correct because forward domain is used on trasnparent mode ForitGates to subdivide into multiple broadcast domain.

I think we are clear that A & B are wrong.
C will combine Layer 2 Ports together.
So it must be D. And if you read the study guide on Site 129, there is the correct answer:
"Traffic arriving on one interface is broadcast only to interfaces in the same forward domain ID"
